Restoring purchases
Purchases belong to the store account that paid for them, not to the device. To get them back after reinstalling or changing phone:
- Sign in to the device with the same store account you used to buy — the same Google account on Google Play, or the same Apple Account on the App Store.
- Open Munch Colony and go to the Store.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
Remove Ads and any themes you own come back this way, as often as you need.
Two limits worth knowing: purchases stay in the store that took the payment, so a Google Play purchase cannot be restored on an iPhone; and a purchase can only be restored on the account that made it, so an item bought on someone else's account has to be restored while signed in to that account.
What a restore does not bring back
- Coins. Coins are stored with the app's data, so Restore Purchases does not restore them. Coins you have already spent on power-ups are also gone.
- Level progress. Progress is saved on the device. Deleting the game deletes it, and restoring purchases does not bring it back.
If a coin pack was charged but the coins never arrived in the game, that is different — see below.
If a purchase does not appear
- Check your store's purchase history to confirm the payment went through. Pending payments deliver nothing until they settle.
- Make sure the device is online and signed in to the account that paid.
- Close the game completely and open it again.
- Open the Store and tap Restore Purchases.
- Still missing? Email us with the details below.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment — Google Play or the App Store — under that store's own rules. We never see your card details.
